Jakuraba Set to Rule the Worlds

From the main page:

Alliance at the Mundials

The BJJ Worlds (also called “The Mundials” by cool kids) goes down in a week in Long Beach California. If this years Pan Ams was any indication of things to come, Alliance will be out in force, ready to win the team championship. From Joslin’s MMA, my good friend and training partner Jack Szatko will be competing in the blue belt division. He’s, without a doubt, one of the hardest working and dedicated grapplers I’ve had the pleasure to know. Good luck, Jaku! Break a leg… er, arm!

Re: Jakuraba Set to Rule the Worlds

No absolute division for blue belt this year. 61 competitors so far in Jack's division. So, 6 matches to bring home the gold!

Re: Jakuraba Set to Rule the Worlds

Jack is going to be playing with a lot of guys from Gracie schools.
Brackets are up. He is on the second of 4 pages of Featherweight, so still 6 matches.
Round 1: Pedro Torres from Gracie Barra Orlando
Round 2: winner of Daryl Fort from Cesar Gracie and Jose Pacheco from Renzo Gracie LA
Round 3: winner of guys from Carlson Gracie Team, Gracie Barra, Brasa, and Peak Performance
etc.
