On last Saturdaty (Dec 8), members from Alliance BJJ clubs gathered in Hamilton to roll and learn some interesting techniques. We had a total of 50 people training! The seminar was taught by the renowned BJJ instructor Romero Jacare Cavalcanti, who is also know for creating the most BJJ World Champions by using his amazing teaching skills and knowledge of the sport. We would also like to congradulate the two guys who got their newly coloured belts at the seminar. Congradulations to Patrick for achieving his purple belt and congradulations to Jason for achieving his black belt. Great work guys!
On Saturday December 8th, Joslin’s Mixed Martial Arts will be holding a seminar instructed by Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu legend Romero Jarare Cavalcanti. Hope to see everyone there!
Last week at the Provincial BJJ Championships in Toronto, we achieved two gold metals. We congradulate Patrick on winning a gold in his gi division, and also a congradulations to Mombashar on winning gold in his no-gi division.
Alliance BJJ had team training was in Hamilton at Jeff Joslin’s gym. Great training and it is good to see evergbody out on the mats. Congradulations to Reid and Julio passing a hard day of testing and proudly recieving their purple and bluebelt.
The Alliance Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu team did it agian! We took a world title on June 24 2012. Alliance Jiu-jitsu is the 5th world title in a row and is now a 7th time World Champion.
Good effort and good results at this years Ontario Open International Jiu Jitsu Championships. As a team we placed in the top three in ten divisions on Saturday and another four in No-Gi on Sunday. Alliance had excellent overall academy results taking first place in the adult male and adult female divisions with 15 medals out of 17 divisions. We also took second in the juvenile and the masters and seniors divisions.
